It’s been a minute since my last post. Honestly, I haven’t had much of an opportunity to do a lot of new activities. The weekends have been kind of busy, and to be transparent, the cold and grey days of January and February make it hard to always want to be the most productive. Seasonal Depression is a real thing, for sure.

But, I did want to take a minute to show some of the things I have been doing lately.

For one, I went to another Paint Nite Event last week with some of my new girl friends. Over the last few months, I have been trying to put myself out there and make new friends. This has not been super easy for me. The older I get, the more introverted I become. On top of that, making new friends is just plain hard. But, I’ve been trying. And I’m very happy to say that I’ve found a few women that I feel like we are starting to build a really solid friendship! I’m so happy to have friends in the area again!!

Anyway, we went to a local bar/grill and had the most delicious Chicago-style pizza and beer, lots of beer, and then painted a picture of cats. That’s right, we are all cat ladies, so we painted our cats! The pictures turned out great and we ended up having an awesome time!

The other thing I have been keeping up with is bullet journaling. For all my fellow Disney lovers, here is my Disney-themed February layout!

All in all, I’ve kind of been a home-body lately. My current favorite hobby is sitting on the couch in my pajamas cuddling my husband under the world’s fuzziest and comfiest blanket.

For now, that is A-Okay by me!
